Santa Barbara Animal Help

Santa Barbara Animal Help Algarve is a non-profit organisation committed to helping street doggs in the Algarve, Portugal to find their forever homes and become beloved companions of kind-hearted humans. A team of dedicated volunteers works tirelessly to care for and prepare them for a successful adoption.

Unlike other animal charities, SBAH does not have its own kennels. Instead, they rely on the kindness of fosters or the use of a Pet Hotel with excellent facilities for exercise. Their volunteers also take the dogs for walks twice a day, ensuring that they receive their daily dose of exercise, sniffing and socialisation that they need to become great furry-friends.

They believe that every dog deserves a loving home and a chance to live a happy life and this is why they do everything to organise responsible dog rehoming in the Algarve. All our dogs are microchipped, vaccinated and sterilised prior to adoption.
